Dismantling the Status Quo: Re- examining Funding Models Under New Leadership

The University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus has new
leadership and we may adjust the financial management model
of our units, for the first time in 15+ years, to better equip the
institution for future budget challenges. Help us re-examine our
financial model as we try to break down the silos of our units
into a more collaborative approach that would better support
new strategic goals. This session will provide the necessary
background information on our current model, describe the
“charge” we have been given by our new SIO, some initial
ideas from other UMN colleges, and finally an interactive
brainstorming session on lessons learned from the greater
HEIBO community. So bring your ideas!
